**UPDATE VISITING**

**UPDATE VISITING**

We would like to thank all relatives and friends for their patience during these unprecedented times. We are still unfortunately in the midst of an outbreak.

Having risk assessed the home and the resident psychological needs I am making the decision that we will open to visiting under the following guidelines

  1. Visiting times will only be during office hours so Lateral Flows can be registered – 11am -12:15pm and 2pm -3:30pm
  2. Each resident can have two visitors at any time
  3. All those entering the home MUST have a negative LAT and enter under the knowledge the home is currently in Outbreak
  4. Visiting will only take place in the residents own room
  5. Visitors MUST wear mask, gloves and apron

Our residents continue to be isolated for 14 days under the current guidelines. If this changes to be in line with the rest of society I will let you know in next weeks update.

Please enjoy your visit and remember to wash your hands and wear  your mask and to ensure you have none of the following before your visit:-

The main symptoms of coronavirus (COVID-19) are:

a high temperature – this means you feel hot to touch on your chest or back (you do not need to measure your temperature)

a new, continuous cough – this means coughing a lot for more than an hour, or 3 or more coughing episodes in 24 hours (if you usually have a cough, it may be worse than usual)

a loss or change to your sense of smell or taste – this means you’ve noticed you cannot smell or taste anything, or things smell or taste different to normal
